NowHere — GPS for Any Camera

Overview

NowHere is a GPS track recording app designed for photographers. This policy explains how the app handles your data.

Location Data

• NowHere records GPS coordinates only while you are actively recording a track.
• Location data is stored locally on your device. It is never uploaded to any server or shared with third parties.
• When you stop recording, no location data is collected.

Health Data (Apple Watch)

• NowHere uses HealthKit solely to keep GPS recording active on Apple Watch when your wrist is down.
• No health or workout data is read, stored, or shared.

Photos

• NowHere accesses your photo library only to read timestamps and attach GPS coordinates to selected photos through Apple's Photos framework. The original image files are not modified.
• Photos are not uploaded or shared.

Data Storage

All data — tracks, GPS coordinates, and settings — is stored locally on your device. No data is transmitted to external servers.

Data Sharing

NowHere does not share any data with third parties. There are no analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools in the app.

Data Export

You can export your GPS tracks as GPX files. Exported files are created locally and shared only through actions you initiate (e.g., AirDrop, Files, email).

Data Deletion

You can delete any track at any time from within the app. Deleting the app removes all stored data from your device.

Third-Party Services

NowHere uses Apple's reverse geocoding service to generate track names from coordinates. This is an Apple system service governed by Apple's privacy policy. No other third-party services are used.
